Disaster Debris Management Sites
Disaster Debris Management Sites (DDMS, formerly known as Hurricane Debris Sites) are authorized by Broward County in order for the owner/operator of the site to receive Public Assistance funds from FEMA. After a disaster has struck, the sites can be activated and used to temporarily store vegetative debris and/or construction and demolition debris.
