Recognized as a pioneer of kinetic art, artist Yaacov Agam stresses movement and change in his artwork. In 'Color and Rhythm' the images shift and vary as one walks around and views the painting from different angles. Like pages in a book, this painting can be "read" as it unfolds. Agam has been exhibited worldwide and received impressive awards including the Medal of Council and Prix de la Palete d'Or.
"To conceptualize the intent of my work as reading the pages of a book, I invite viewers to actively participate in the formation of the artwork which evolves with the changes in physical perspective"
