Located in a specially designed room, circular in shape, 28' diameter, "The Harrambe Room" is a complete integrated space with wall panels and terrazzo floor design. The twenty (20) wall panels are made of photographic printed canvas, with five repeated sets of imageries: Flag, Voice, Sankofa, Civilrights and Institi. The terrazzo floor is designed with wavy lines of different colors intercepted by a central straight line leading from the doorway to the center part of the wall panels (Civilrights). Miami based artist Gary Moore created this space to commemorate the spirit of the people of color in Broward County.
