Regional Investment Program
Overview

Purpose/Use:

To assist South Florida based not-for-profit arts and cultural organizations that have operated in Broward County in their cultural disciplines for a minimum of three (3) years, in meeting reimbursable program expenses associated with the presentation and/or production of a regular season of exhibitions, programs, events or performances open to the general public in Broward County. Applicants must be qualified and designated as a Regional Investment Program organization as recommended by the Broward Cultural Council.  

Matching Funds: Not required. ​

Award Size: 
On a funds-available basis, between$10,000 - $80,000.  Governed by documented operating revenues received in Broward County during the organization’s most recent fiscal year, exclusive of capital funds, collections, and endowment funds. An organization must have documented yearly Broward County revenues of at least $40,000 to be eligible for funding.

Designation is required to apply.  
Designations should be submitted by June 1, 2020.

Application Deadline:  November 16, 2020 at 11:59 PM

Applications must be filed online: Any application filed online must be filed by 11:59 p.m. on the date of the deadline listed for each program. If such deadline falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the deadline shall automatically become 11:59 p.m. the following Monday, except if that Monday or the deadline falls on a Broward County, State of Florida, or national (federal) holiday, the deadline will become 11:59 p.m. of the following business day.

The Cultural Division's grants program, under the direction of Director Phil Dunlap, is undergoing a transformation to create more equitable and accessible opportunities that support the development of arts and culture in Broward.
