Robert Nathans was born in 1955 and originates from Paterson, New Jersey.  He began studying drawing at Art Students' League of NYC at age 13.  Nathans went on to study printmaking at Pratt Institute in NYC before moving to Tampa, FL to study painting at the University of South Florida.  Robert Nathans now resides on the east coast of South Florida and primarily works in oil paint and collage. 

Robert Nathans received 2008 South Florida Cultural Consortium Award.
