Artist, Chisseko Kondowe, involved the Delevoe Park community in the design of this artwork. He selected 148 names of the leaders of the community, past and present, to be inscribed on his handmade tiles which adorn 58 pillars of the community center.  Four tiles per pillar resulted in 232 tiles; plus, 104 tiles for the two gates at the park. Kondowe's intent is "to capture the tranquility of the environment at Delevoe Park."
