"I was totally consumed by the drama of this storm moving in fast and low, so low that I felt as though I could almost touch the clouds. As I was standing in the water taking the picture, I suddenly felt a stinging sensation on my legs. I looked down and they were completely covered with mosquitos!" - Clyde Butcher

This black and white gelatin silver print is from a numbered edition of 17/100. Towering clouds formation dominates the calm reflective water with sharp details captured by the large format camera that the artist used in his art. This print is installed at the Aviation Administration offices. Viewing is by appointment only.

"Wilderness to me is a spiritual necessity. When my son was killed by a drunk driver, it was to the wilderness that I fled in hope of regaining my serenity and equilibrium. The mysterious spiritual experience of being close to nature helped to restore my soul. It was during that time, I discovered the intimate beauty of Florida. My experience reinforced my sense of dedication to use my art form of photography as an inspiration for others to work together to save places of spiritual sanctuary for future generations."
