To provide professional-caliber orchestral music to South Broward and North Miami-Dade counties, often free to the public.  To provide work for veteran local musicians who must otherwise flee South Florida or find other work or both.

Holiday concerts every July and December.  Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2009.  Fundraising to the public to replace tax-based declining funds from the local Community Redevelopment Agencies.
