Purpose: Raising environmental awareness through the arts.
Projects: New River Mime Troupe, founded in 1985, morphed into Mermaids for Manatees at the 1990 Downtown Festival of the Arts in fort Lauderdale. Our show is suitable for children ages 2 – 8. We have presented more then 300 successful programs in the Tri-county area, at schools, libraries, festivals and aquatics facilities.
