New 595 Express from the Westgate Square Shopping Center at State Road 84 and Weston Road in Sunrise to Miami Civic Center begins service on Monday, October 1, and offer complimentary rides during the first week.

Service will be on weekdays only, approximately every 30 minutes during morning and afternoon peak travel times. New hybrid buses on the route will provide free Wi-Fi access, 12-volt power outlets for charging electronic equipment and hi-back seats for passenger comfort. Complimentary parking at the park-and-ride lot is available to passengers with a 595 Express bus parking hangtag, obtained by calling South Florida Commuter Services at 1-800-234-RIDE or by logging on to 1800234ride.com.

Southbound morning buses to Miami Civic Center will depart from Westgate Square at 5:20 a.m. up to 8:10 a.m. every 30 minutes and end at Northwest 19 Street and Northwest 10 Avenue. Bus stops along the route include the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport Tri-Rail Station, Veterans Hospital, Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami-Dade County Courthouse and Miami-Dade College Medical Campus.

Northbound morning buses to Westgate Square will depart from Northwest 19 Street and Northwest 10 Avenue at 6:15 a.m. up to 7:20 a.m. approximately every 30 minutes, with no additional stops along the route.

Southbound afternoon buses to Miami Civic Center depart from Westgate Square at 4:30 p.m. up to 7 p.m. every 30 minutes and end at Northwest 19 Street and Northwest 10 Avenue, with no additional stops along the route.

Northbound afternoon buses to Westgate Square depart from Northwest 19 Street and Northwest 10 Avenue at 3:10 p.m. up to 7:40 p.m. every 30 minutes.

Premium Express bus fares apply to the 595 Express as follows:

• $2.35 for a one-way trip
• $1.15 reduced fare one-way trip
• $23.50 Premium 10-Ride Bus Pass
• $85 Premium 31-Day Bus Pass

The Premium 31-Day Bus Pass will be accepted on all BCT bus routes. Premium 10-Ride and Premium 31-Day Bus Passes are available for purchase online at the Main Bus Terminal, Pembroke Pines/Walter C. Young Resource Center, South Regional/Broward College Library, Southwest Regional Library, Miramar Branch Library and Education Center and Sunrise Dan Pearl Branch Library.
