Effective Monday, November 20, 2017 until further notice

95 Express Pembroke Pines/Miramar (Route 109) and 595 Express BB&T Center to Miami/Brickell (Route 110)

PM Service Only

DetourIn order to reduce delays, the PM detour in downtown Miami will be modified as follows:

Brickell Station Construction at the express bus stop at the Brickell Metrorail Station has been completed. This stop is located on the west side of the Brickell Station Bus Terminal just south of NW 8th Street. Buses will resume serving this stop. The east side stop will be out of service.

PM Brickell Routing From the reopened bus stop, express buses will travel east on NW 8th Street to Brickell Avenue, then turn south. Buses will serve existing AM stops along Brickell Avenue heading south. Those stops are located at SE 8th Street, SE 10th Street and on SE 13th Street. Customers will be picked up at SE 8th Street, SE 10th Street and on SE 13th Street. Bus stops along Brickell Avenue on the east side will be out of service. Buses will travel north on S. Miami Avenue, crossing over the Miami River. This bridge is taller and has fewer openings than the Brickell Avenue bridge, thereby reducing delays.

Downtown Miami Buses will no longer turn west on SE 2nd Street near the Avis Rental Car. Instead, they will continue north on SE 1st Avenue to NE 1st Street then travel west to NW 1st Avenue. A new express stop will be added at Flagler Street & SE 1st Avenue to accommodate commuters who work near Biscayne Boulevard. This new routing will remove service from the bus stop located on SW 1st Street & SW 1st Avenue near the downtown bus terminal. Commuters can walk two short blocks to the Government Center stop located just north of NW 1st Street. Buses will continue on the existing detour north of the Government Center stop.
