Broward’s Public Facilities – Keep Them Running Efficiently

InfrastructureResidents, business​es, and visitors all rely upon dependable yet affordable public facilities. Without a reliable public infrastructure elements such as drinking water, sewers, drainage, solid waste, parks, and public schools, life in Broward County would be really uncomfortable! These public facilities must be available every day, and even during disasters such as flooding and hurricanes. However, the day-to-day operations of Broward's public facilities are threatened by new challenges such as rising seas and salt water intrusion. In order to combat these challenges before they become a problem, Broward is setting goals to be better prepared and create a stronger, more resilient infrastructure.
