These public facilities must be available every day, and even during disasters such as flooding and hurricanes. However, the day-to-day operations of Broward's public facilities are threatened by new challenges such as rising seas and salt water intrusion. In order to combat these challenges before they become a problem, Broward is setting goals to be better prepared and create a stronger, more resilient infrastructure.
