Open Enrollment 2013

Open Enrollment begins October 29 and ends November 19

Open Enrollment is the one time of year when benefit-eligible employees can enroll in or change their health, dental, vision and Flexible Spending Account(s) benefit selections for the upcoming calendar year. Vendor fairs and presentations have been scheduled around the County to provide educational and informational opportunities for employees to learn about the benefit plans. Schedules are posted on broward.org/benefits and in the Open Enrollment newsletter.

No increase in health deductions for the fourth year!

Online Waiver of Coverage Required - All benefit-eligible employees are required to enroll or waive coverage online. To continue to receive the Waiver Credit of $119.23 per paycheck, employees must waive coverage online. Failure to waive coverage online will result in loss of the Waiver Credit for 2013.

Contact Information - Employees can now update their contact information and emergency contact information online.

Enrollment/Confirmation Statements
Confirmation statements will not be issued after Open Enrollment closes. Employees can view and print their Confirmation online. Changes can be made as many times as necessary prior to 5 p.m. November 19, 2012. The last enrollment submitted online is the enrollment that will be processed for 2013. Employees can view and print their Confirmation Statement through January 31, 2013.
