County Strives to Become “Street Friendly” for Everyone

Complete Street
Complete Streets enable multi-modal use.
The Broward County Commission unanimously approved bringing several County agencies together to review and make recommendations regarding road planning, design and construction standards to result in the development of "Complete Streets" throughout the County.

Complete Streets are roadways designed and constructed for all modes of transportation – automobiles, buses, bicycles and pedestrians. Communities that have adopted Complete Streets find them to be affordable, safe and more user-friendly, and like the idea that residents and visitors no longer have to rely solely on motor vehicles to get around.
