Public Information concerning Broward County Environmental Protection and Growth Management Department (Department) activities is available on-line in various databases. Conducting your own search on-line is easy and the information can be obtained readily.
ENVIROS (click here to begin searching)
ENVIROS is Broward County's environmental on-line search engine that searches records within the POSSE Licensing, Inspection and regulatory enforcement database. (POSSE contains information from 2001 forward.) ENVIROS does not, however, include Domestic Wastewater licensing or Environmental Assessment and Remediation licensing information.
To search for Domestic Wastewater Licenses call 954-519-1483 or for more information visit their web page at DomesticWasteWater.aspx.
For Environmental Assessment and Remediation licensing information go to www.broward.org/PollutionPrevention/ContaminatedSites.
Environmental Liens
The Department's environmental liens are recorded as public documents with the Broward County Records Division. County record searches can be conducted on-line at www.broward.org/records/welcome.htm

The Pollution Prevention, Remediation and Air Quality Division maintains files on facilities which have been issued a Hazardous Material Management Facility License (which includes storage tank facilities and wellfield facilities - also found on-line through ENVIROS) or an Environmental Assessment and Remediation (EAR) license (also referred to as a cleanup file).
