Maintenance and Operations

The Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division is responsible for maintenance and repair of county owned roads. Our mowing crews clean and cut grass on medians and shoulders. Patch crews repair potholes and surface damage to asphalt roadways. We also maintain storm drains on many major roads and streets in the unincorporated areas.

Trash picked up from roadsides.

Trash picked up from roadsides throughout the county is stockpiled at our facility yard for drying and is then loaded on dump trucks and hauled to the landfill.

We sift the dirt from the trash and it is later used for clean fill.
