Lauderdale-By-The-Sea is the 19th city to join the Adopt-A-Street program. The City is in the implementation period and should be up and running for the Great American Cleanup 2009 in March!

Lauderdale-By-The-Sea's October GreenFest

The Second Annual GreenFest promises to be fun for the entire family! Get tips for going green from local organizations such as Broward County Waste and Recycling Services, Kids Ecology Corps, and EcoFashion Florida! Kids will have a great time making art from trash in the kids' area, sponsored by The Frame & Art Gallery.

To volunteer at the Adopt-A-Street GreenFest cleanup, register by calling 954-474-1835, or email litterprevention@broward.org

If you are interested in adopting a section of a street, please email litterprevention@broward.org or visit www.broward.org/waste and click the Adopt-A-Street link. You can download a Group Application Form from the Forms Page . Groups are inducted on a first-come, first-serve basis according to the date the Group Application is completed.
