Landfill: Location and Directions
Story 1
Although most of Broward's household garbage is either burned for energy or recycled, the Southwest Regional Landfill (SRL) serves as an alternative for waste that is neither combustible nor recyclable, and also serves as a contingency facility for the system in case of natural disaster, or Waste-to-Energy plants closings.
