You’re invited to join friends and neighbors by volunteering for a one-day Community Cleanup to help remove litter and trash from swales and vacant lots in Unincorporated Broward County neighborhoods. The benefits of cleaning up a community include increased neighborhood pride, higher property values, less instances of illegal dumping, and lower crime rates.

 

Broward County can help your neighborhood-based group organize a Community Cleanup by providing:

•       Roll-off containers and free disposal
•       Gloves, trash bags, and safety vests
•       Coordination and monitoring of event
•       Flyers to promote event
•       Certificates for Community Service hours
