5th Annual Arts Integration Conference  -August 13th
Nationally recognized workshop leaders from the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts’ Partners in Education Roster of Teaching Artists

This professional development day will focus on using arts instruction to enhance students’ educational experience in core curriculum subjects.  Exercising Creativity will endeavor to demonstrate healthy lifestyle choices along with creative activities that will stimulate students to succeed. Dealing with multiple intelligences in the classroom requires creativity in instruction. Come and learn new techniques for engaging your students! 

This conference is one of the only FREE professional development experience of its kind in South Florida, and is a project of the 1993 Kennedy Center Partners in Education Team. Complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided.

*FYI:  only music and visual arts Broward teachers go to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts – everyone else goes to Dillard.

Conference Description:	Full day of *free workshops, brought to you by Dillard Center for the Arts, which is free to all teachers, artists, principals, community arts providers, and others who work with children and teens, will consist of interactive workshops. This event is a collaborative effort to expose educators to the use of the arts to help students acquire the knowledge of word order, phrasing, and punctuation that contributes to the meaning of a written sentence. Complimentary breakfast and lunch provided. *Some workshops require the purchase of materials.
Registration:	Begins on May 1, 2007 and is on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please review the attached materials and register as soon as possible.  All workshops and presenters are subject to change.
