The Cultural Foundation of Broward County, a 501(c) (3) organization, provides financial support to enhance our community through cultural programming, services, advocacy and arts education. These funds are directed to Broward County’s students (K–12), individual artists, and cultural arts organizations. Our mission is to be a unified voice and catalyst for support of cultural arts, through development of resources, advocacy and education in Broward County.

The Cultural Foundation, in collaboration with the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, Fort Lauderdale Historical Society, the African American Research Library and Cultural Center, The School Board of Broward County, Florida, Symphony of the Americas, Riverwalk Trust, Broward Center for the Performing Arts, Urban League of Broward County, Broward County Cultural Division, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, and local art patrons, has planned the festival's events.
