Biography

Samantha Salzinger
Samantha Salzinger is currently an Associate Professor and Art Department Chair at Palm Beach Community College teaching classes in photography and art history. Prior to that, she served as Director of Exhibitions at the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood, FL for five years. She was the recipient of the South Florida Cultural Consortium Fellowship in 2000. In addition, she was awarded the George Sakier Memorial Scholarship at the Yale University Visual Arts Department where she graduated with a MFA in Photography in 1997.

Ms. Salzinger obtained her BFA at Florida International University in 1995. Her work has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions including the recent “Designing Intelligence” at the Florida Atlantic University Gallery and the upcoming exhibition at the Museum of Art in Fort Lauderdale “With You I Want to Live” from the collection of Francie Bishop-Good and David Horvitz, on view form April 19 2009 until October 2010. Samantha had her first solo exhibition in October 2008, “A Strange Day in July” at the Gallery Diet.
