Human Rights Board

The purpose of the Broward County Human Rights Board is to encourage equality of treatment and to prevent discrimination against any racial, religious, ethnic, or other minority group or its members.

The Human Rights Board meets the third Monday in the months of February, April, July and October from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Room 302 of the Broward County Governmental Center. Please contact the Civil Rights Division at 954-357-7800 for any additional information.

The Broward County Code provides more information on the Human Rights Board.  Access and view this information. Then select Chapter 16 ½ - Human Rights, followed by Sec. 16 ½ - 51.
