National County Government Month (NCGM), is an annual celebration of County government and the roles and responsibilities it has in serving its residents. Some may not realize the aspects of maintenance that go into a thriving County such as maintaining everything from roads and bridges to caring for residents’ physical and mental health.
More than 60 Broward County agencies provide services and programs that keep our
community moving forward and impact community quality of life daily, especially
in areas of regional importance such as Affordable Housing, Resilience, Transportation and Solid Waste and Recycling. This year’s theme, “ForwardTogether” is about connecting, inspiring and leading – the pillars of county government that build trust and drive towards solutions.
