The Housing and Community Development Division was created by the Broward County Commission by merging the Office of Housing Finance and the Community Development Division. The new Division is responsible for administering the housing programs of both the Housing Finance Authority of Broward County, Florida, and the Broward County Commission.

Our primary purpose is to provide housing which persons and families of low, moderate or middle income can afford, and capital for investment in such housing.

Our mission is to create partnerships, maximize resources and find new tools to develop and preserve affordable housing, and improve communities.
