Purpose
Facilitate the coordination between the County and the Municipalities to establish a countywide communications infrastructure for fire and emergency medical services to enable closest unit response for life-threatening emergencies and support for regional specialty teams.

Membership
Nine (9) members who shall be members or employees of the applicable appointing organization.
- One (1) member shall be appointed by the Broward County Commission.
- One (1) member shall be appointed by the Broward League of Cities who is its Chair or Vice-Chair.
- One (1) member shall be appointed by the Broward League of Cities who is a current elected municipal official.
- One (1) member shall be appointed by the Broward League of Cities who is a current city manager.
- One (1) member shall be appointed by the Broward County Council of Professional Fire-Fighters.
- One (1) member shall be appointed by the Broward County Fire Chiefs Association.
- One (1) member shall be appointed by the Broward County Medical Association.
- One (1) member shall be appointed by the Sheriff of Broward County.
- One (1) member shall be appointed by the Director of the Broward County Trauma Management Agency.
Terms
Two years from the date of appointment.
