Gallery Exhibit Features Environmental Photography by Dawn Miller-Walker

WHAT:  The Exhibit Hall at the Anne Kolb Nature Center at West Lake Park hosts a free Gallery Exhibit, featuring the environmental photography of Dawn Miller-Walker. The show runs from Thursday, September 3 through Tuesday, September 29. The Exhibit Hall is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is no charge to view the art exhibit, although there is a per-person fee of $1 to tour the Exhibit Hall.

There will also be a Reception, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, September 12.

Miller-Walker, who holds a B.S. in Fisheries & Aquatic Biology and a dual M.S. in Marine Biology and Coastal Zone Management, has a passion for environmental photography, which she uses to encourage the average citizen to have a take-action-now approach to conserving the environment. She has nearly a dozen years of experience in environmental education, is active on the boards and committees of many environmental organizations, and often shares her photography at conferences, workshops, and meetings to advance her philosophy of conservation.

HOW: The art exhibit is free, although there is a $1/person admission fee to tour the Exhibit Hall.
