Fun With Creepy, Crawly Things
- Nature center kicks off lecture series featuring live animal demonstrations -
WHAT: Fern Forest Nature Center in Coconut Creek launches its Sunday Afternoon Nature Lecture Series, for all ages, on Sunday, November 15, in the nature center’s amphitheater. Each lecture in this fun and informative series lasts approximately one hour, followed by a question-and-answer session. Live animals will be used to emphasize the lecture topics, although there will be no handling of the animals by the public.
The topic for November 15 is “Snakes and Spiders.” Future topics include “Amphibians and Reptiles” (November 22) and “Dangerous Plants, Animals, and Insects” (November 29). A $3 donation is requested per lecture.
