The Broward Addiction Recovery Center (BARC) Triage and Detoxification Unit provides advocacy, assessment, evaluations, admissions, detoxification and stabilization in support of those who seek recovery from drug and alcohol use disorders BARC's Detoxification services are individualized to meet each person's needs.
Our skilled multi-disciplinary team, under the leadership of Dr. Dale Fahie, has the experience and training to provide safe detoxification services to those struggling with drug and alcohol addiction and co-occurring disorders. Our guiding principle views addiction as a brain disease that damages the body, mind, and spirit and that recovery is possible. BARC can accommodate 50 adults in single and two-person rooms.

BARC accepts many public, private, and commercial insurance plans. However, if you are uninsured or underinsured, you may qualify for fees on a sliding scale basis.
