2024-33 Transit Development Plan (TDP)
The 2024-33 TDP for BCT represents the vision for public transportation in Broward County over the next 10 years, and at the same time, functions as the strategic guide for public transportation in the County. Development of this TDP included a number of activities including: documentation and analysis of the demographic conditions in BCT’s service area; an evaluation of existing transit services in Broward County; market research and extensive public involvement efforts; an analysis of immediate and longer term transit service and capital project needs; and a funding analysis and plan that initiates strategic approaches to maintaining and expanding transit services in Broward County within the next ten years and beyond.

BCT 2023-32 Transit Development Plan (TDP) Annual Update
The 2023-32 TDP Annual Update is a short-range (ten-year horizon) transit plan that addresses planned operational and capital improvements to the Broward County Transit (BCT) system. This update identifies achievements within the past fiscal year (2022), identifies plans and services for the upcoming fiscal year (2023) and provides recommendations for all subsequent years, including the new tenth year (2032). The 2023-32 TDP Annual Update is the fourth of four annual updates to the 2019-28 Major TDP effort (see 2019-28 TDP information below).

The 2022-31 TDP Annual Update is a short-range (ten-year horizon) transit plan that addresses planned operational and capital improvements to the Broward County Transit (BCT) system. The 2021-30 TDP Annual Update is a short-range (ten-year horizon) transit plan that addresses planned operational and capital improvements to the Broward County Transit (BCT) system. This update identifies achievements within the past fiscal year (2020), identifies plans and services for the upcoming fiscal year (2021) and provides recommendations for all subsequent years, including the new tenth year (2030). The 2021-30 TDP Annual Update is the second of four annual updates to the 2019-28 Major TDP effort (see 2019-28 TDP information below).

BCT 2020-29 Transit Development Plan (TDP) Annual Update
The 2020-29 TDP Annual Update is a short-range (ten-year horizon) transit plan that addresses planned operational and capital improvements to the Broward County Transit (BCT) system. This update highlights the implementation plans for BCT, including all programs adopted in the voter-approved Mobility Advancement Program (MAP). The 2020-29 TDP Annual Update is the first of four annual updates to last year's Major TDP effort (see 2019-28 TDP information below).

2019-28 Transit Development Plan (TDP)
The 2019-28 TDP for BCT serves as the strategic guide for public transportation in Broward County over the next 10 years. Development of this TDP included a number of activities including: documentation and analysis of the demographic conditions in BCT’s service area; an evaluation of existing transit services in Broward County; market research and extensive public involvement efforts; an analysis of immediate and longer term transit service and capital project needs; and a funding analysis and plan that initiates strategic approaches to maintaining and expanding transit services in Broward County within the next ten years and forward.

The Vision Plan component of the 2019-28 TDP focuses on improving the transit system to better meet the needs of the community and reflects the vision for future services as confirmed through this TDP process. The Vision Plan reflects the projects and budgets that compose the overall Penny for Transportation Surtax Plan recently approved by Broward County voters. For the purpose of meeting the TDP Rule, the 2019-28 TDP provides a 10-yr. (2019-28) and 30-yr. (2019-48) overview of the overall Surtax Plan, with particular emphasis on BCT's projects and needs.
