​​Fixed Route and Express Bus Service

Our fixed route service is the most accessible, affordable, and economical way to travel throughout Broward County. Our express bus service provides free commuter park-and-ride locations and travels along the major interstate highways to Miami on weekdays during peak morning and afternoon travel hours.

Community Shuttle Service

Our community shuttle service operates in partnership with 18 Broward County municipalities. It serves residential areas and provides local circulation to passengers traveling short distances. It also provides “first-mile” and “last‐mile” connections to BCT fixed routes. All community shuttles are wheelchair accessible and equipped with bike racks.

Paratransit

​Paratransit (TOPS) service is for persons qualified under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. The service is for persons with physical, cognitive, emotional, visual, or other disabilities which functionally prevent them from using the BCT fixed-route bus system permanently, temporarily or under certain conditions. Going to the Airport?

Take BCT Route 1 to the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International (FLL) Airport. Route 1 travels along Federal Highway to FLL. Route 1 bus stop is located at the Rental Car Center (RCC), bus-way, departure upper-level. Our fare boxes do not give change. From Terminal 2, 3 or 4, take the airport shuttle bus to the RCC. When exiting the shuttle bus stop at the RCC, turn right and walk to the end of the building to BCT Route 1 bus stop. From Terminal 1, access the moving sidewalk into the RCC. Once inside the RCC, go to Level 3, then outside the building to the curb and to BCT Route 1 bus stop. Service is available 7 days a week including holidays. View Schedules. Forgot Something on the Bus?

While Broward County Transit is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items, our Lost and Found staff members will try to help you recover your lost or forgotten belongings.

Contact our Lost and Found section at 954-357-8400. You will only receive a call back if your lost item is located or if more information is needed to assist us in identifying the item. If your lost item is located, you will need to claim it at the Broward Central Bus Terminal (Broward Blvd. and N.W. 1st Ave.) in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Items will be kept for 90 days. When you call to report a lost item, please leave the following information:

  • Detailed description of the lost item/s,

  • Your full name with spelling,

  • Daytime phone number where you can be contacted. If you lose a cell phone, please leave the number of the lost cellphone, even if you have discontinued the service.

Lost and Found hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9AM to 4PM. We close for lunch between 12:30 and 1:30PM.​​ ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
