We invite you to search for firms that are actively certified by a government organization below. Information about firms contained in each search engine includes contact information, location, certified business description, and assigned NAICS codes.

Broward County Certified Firm Directory

Steps to search firms certified in Broward County’s local small business programs - County Business Enterprise (CBE) and Small Business Enterprise (SBE):

  1. Search by Business name, type the name of the business and click Refresh List
  2. Search by Business Activity, select a Business Activity from the drop down (i.e. Architecture & Engineering; Commodity Supplier; Construction; Contract Services; and Licensed Professional Services) and click Refresh List
  3. To narrow your search, Search by Business Activity, (see #2 above) and then select a Specialty and click Refresh List. For example Construction Services have multiple specialties and you can narrow the search by also selecting roofing.
  4. Search by Keyword, under Specialty, select Other (Specify) and type the keyword you want to search (for example printing) and click Refresh List.  Tip: use the root word instead of adding -ing.  For example, roof instead of "roofing", paint instead of "painting".
  5. Search by NAICS Code, if you know the NAICS code, please enter the number and click Refresh List.  For a List of NAICs codes visit https://www.naics.com/

Florida Department of Transportation Florida Unified Certification Program Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Directory 

Access the Florida Unified Certification Program (UCP) Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) is a searchable listing of all certified DBE and Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) firms eligible to perform work under the federal DBE Program.

The ideal method of searching for DBE/ACDBE firms is through NAICS codes.  

Steps:

  1. Scroll down to "NAICS Search" 
  2. Enter the code.  The definition of the code will appear in the window beneath the code.  
  3. Add the code and description to the window on the right by clicking the ">>" symbol.  
  4. Scroll down to the bottom and click Broward County OESBD, and click "Run Report".  

Note: This example will give you a list of all the Broward County DBE/ACDBE firms that provide security services.
