The Office of Economic and Small Business Development
(OESBD) administers services and programs according to applicable local, state
and/or Federal policies and regulations. As a recipient of Federal funding,
Broward County must have a program that meets the requirements promulgated by
the Federal government. Broward County maintains DBE and ACDBE Program Plans
which further define the County's implementation of the Federal regulations
governing U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), Florida Department of
Transportation (FDOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Federal
Transit Administration (FTA) grant funding.
