Provides homeless residents a one-way ticket anywhere Greyhound Lines travels to
reunify customers with their family or supportive friend. Services
can only be utilized once in a life time. The program does not import or
bring people to Broward County. Additional program information include:
- Service is rendered every Tuesday
- Intake and referral are accepted via phone, fax
or email
- Qualified customers must be prepared to leave
at the appointed time
- No food or cash will be provided for travel
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must meet HUD definition of homeless or flee
domestic violence
- Residence in Broward County for a minimum of
six months
- Adult 18 and older must present a government
issued identification
- Minors must be accompanied by an adult and
present a birth certificate
- Relative or other support network must reside
at the intended destination and be willing to accept the traveler
