OIG PUBLIC RECORDS

Please note that the OIG will not release records in its open cases, as such records are confidential and exempt from disclosure by law. Once the OIG closes a case, the records a​re then available for public inspection and copying upon request; however, the​ identity of the individuals who qualify for protection under law will not be released even after a case is closed.

The OIG is an entity that is independent of Broward County government and is not the custodian of records regarding the administration, operations, or services of Broward County government in the absence of OIG involvement.
