​Exploring Human Origins: What Does It Mean to Be H​​​​uman?

This exciting exhibition encourages a public conversation focusing on multiple perspectives of what it means to be human and fosters greater appreciation of the complexity of the science of human evolution. Broward County Library was selected to host the exhibit through a national competition offered by the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History and the American Library Association. Through panels, interactive kiosks, hands-on displays and videos, the exhibit invites viewers of all ages to discover the milestones in the evolutionary journey of becoming human.
