Tradewinds Park & Stables roots run deep. From 1944 to 1975, Tradewinds Farm was a horse-breeding and boarding business owned and operated by William K. and Margueritte C. McLean. Their original farmhouse still stands and is now a museum on the north side of the park. If your child is wild about horses this is the camp for them, and for you! Taking care of a horse provides a sense of responsibility and commitment to the camper, instills a sense of pride when they've done a job well done, and provides immediate happiness when they bond and take that ride.
