The Parks Foundation of Broward County invites you to join us at the Fifth ParkFest Love & Music Day on Sunday, April 21, 2024, from 1 to 5PM at Tradewinds Park & Stables. The free concert's (parking is $5/vehicle) headline act is the 100-member Florida Youth Orchestra (FYO) and Grammy-winning jazz flutist Nestor Torres. The opening act are the Broward Center Spotlights, a talented teen vocal ensemble. David Orson will be the celebrity emcee. Members of the Antique Automobile Club of America Fort Lauderdale Region will also be on hand to display more than 50 classic cars so attendees can see automotive history of all types!
A variety of food trucks, beer and wine vendors will be there. The FYO Instrument Play Pen, train rides, corn hole, giant jenga, giant chess, connect-a-shot, and other family activities and bounce houses will also be available.
Bring lawn chairs and/or blankets so you can relax on the park's lush green space. No seating is provided. No outside food, beverages, or coolers are permitted, and please leave your pets at home. A limit of one backpack or purse will be in effect. Event capacity is limited. ParkFest is a rain-or-shine event. By entering and by your presence here, you consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded.
Other event sponsors include Broward County Parks and Recreation, City of Coconut Creek, Broward Public Schools, Centennial Bank, FPL, KEITH - Engineering Inspired Design, Pompano Law, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, and Reddi Gourmet.
