Submits reports and recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners relating to matters which include, but are not limited to, discrimination, employment, and vocational training, as well as the present and future needs for public transportation, services, emergency management disaster planning, affordable and accessible housing, and accessible facilities and programs for individuals with disabilities.

Membership: Each County Commissioner shall appoint two (2) members who shall be permanent residents and registered voters in Broward County; and one (1) of whom shall reside in the appointing Commissioner’s district.

Meetings: January (Annual Planning Meeting), March, May, June, September, November, and December.
Broward County Governmental Center, Room 302.

Any changes in the noticed meetings will be posted in compliance with Florida’s Sunshine Law.
