General
- I forgot my user name.
Your user name is not required to access your account; only your email address is required. Simply sign on to
AccessBROWARD and click on
Account Profile to view your User Name located on the top right corner of the screen.
- I forgot my password.
For your security, we do not email or present you with your current password, but it’s easy to create a new password online.
- Go to reset your password.
- Enter the email address you registered with.
- Enter the words in the CAPTCHA area.
- Click Submit.
- You will receive an email with the subject Your AccessBROWARD account password request confirming that a request was submitted to reset your AccessBROWARD password. Check your email for instructions on how to reset your password.
- How do I change my password?
To create a new password:
- Sign on to AccessBROWARD.
- Select Change Password.
- Enter your old password, your new password and confirm your new password.
- Click Change Password.
- A message displays "Your AccessBROWARD password has been successfully changed."
- You will receive an email with the subject Your AccessBROWARD account password request confirming that your AccessBROWARD password was recently changed.
- How do I close my AccessBROWARD account?
Once you close your
AccessBROWARD account, you will not be able to access the Broward County services associated with your
AccessBROWARD account. Please ensure that all services associated with your account are canceled.
Sign on and select
Close Account to view a list of the current services before closing your account.
To close your account:
- Click Close my account.
- Click OK to confirm.
Registration
- Will my AccessBROWARD account be secure?
- Yes. All of your information is securely transmitted to Broward County via Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protection. Please notice the AccessBROWARD web address begins with https:// which indicates this secure transaction.
Here’s how it works. Broward County holds a uniquely credentialed SSL certificate issued by
VeriSign™. During your online session, this certificate encrypts your sensitive personal information and sends your information securely so that only Broward County can read the information. For additional information about SSL and the way Broward County uses it, click on the VeriSign™ logo
which appears on AccessBROWARD.
- I completed the AccessBROWARD sign-up
process but I didn't receive an email and cannot complete the registration process.
Please make sure:
- You check your email account for a Spam or Junk folder for an email from no-reply@broward.org with the subject Your new AccessBROWARD account.
- If you locate the email, click on the link to complete the registration process.
- Add no-reply@broward.org to your email account contact list to ensure you receive future AccessBROWARD emails.
- If you don't locate the email, please contact your email provider's customer support.
- I completed the AccessBROWARD sign-up
process but I can’t sign on.
Please make sure:
- You checked your email account for an email from no-reply@broward.org with the subject Your new AccessBROWARD account and followed the link
provided to sign-in for the first time.
- You are using the email address and password you signed up with. If you’ve forgotten your password, or your password has been
disabled, please see I forgot my password above.
Lobbyist Registration
- How do I register as a lobbyist?
You need to have an AccessBROWARD account to register as a Lobbyist.
Go to
https://webapps.broward.org/Lobbyist and
select New Registration.
If you already have an Access Broward account and would like to associate to your new Lobbyist registration,
select Yes and follow the instructions. Otherwise,
select No and continue to create a new Access Broward account.
Registration Process
- Read and agree to the Lobbyist Registration Statement (after signing into AccessBROWARD)
- Complete lobbyist registration form and submit.
- Your application will be reviewed by County Administration. Once approved, you will receive an email containing the sign in link.
