NOTE: Broward County Landfill only accepts waste originating from within Broward County. Current Driver’s License is required to dispose of waste at the Broward County Landfill. Municipal Solid Waste (household garbage), hazardous waste, biomedical waste, lead-acid batteries, used oil, liquid waste (unless specifically approved by an authorized individual), and waste containing polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB’s) is/are not accepted at the Broward County Landfill.

Pre-authorization Required for Mobile Home Disposal at the Broward County Landfill – MOBILE HOMES
WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR DISPOSAL AT THE BROWARD COUNTY LANDFILL WITHOUT BEING PRE-AUTHORIZED.
Whenever a customer wishes to dispose of a mobile home at the Broward County Landfill, certified (signed and sealed) documentation from a Florida Licensed Asbestos Consultant must be provided prior to disposal verifying that the mobile home does not contain regulated asbestos containing materials (RACM). Once such documentation is reviewed and approved by Broward County Landfill management, it will be considered pre-authorized for disposal at the rate established in the current fee schedule. The pre-authorization paperwork will be required to be submitted at the time of disposal.
*The Broward County Landfill does not accept residential waste from haulers providing franchise services for municipalities.
