​​​​​​​​​Annual Action Plan (AAP) Fiscal Year (FY) 2024-2025 (50th Year) Pre-Adoption Public Hearing U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Programs​

Broward County is an entitlement recipient of federal funds from HUD under the CDBG, HOME and ESG programs. In the 2024-2025 Program Year, Broward County anticipates receiving $3,929,190 in CDBG funds, $3,880,746.38 in HOME funds, and $245,888 in ESG funds. In addition, Broward County received CDBG program income in the amount of $428,460.48 as well as $798,718.41 in HOME program income for Fiscal Year 2023-2024. These funds will be used to address community development and housing needs in Broward County.

Citizens are encouraged to review the 2024-2025 AAP draft and provide written comments. Copies of the document are available for review and comment during a 30-day period commencing July 15, 2024, and ending August 15, 2024. Prior to adoption, the Housing Finance Division (HFD) will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the HFD offices located 110 NE 3rd Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301.
