To ensure the security of transactions, payments are ACCEPTED ONLY in park offices or at Pay Online​.​

Our Fees

Fees take effect on January 1, 2025.

Admission fees are charged only for entry to regional parks on weekends and County-observed holidays only. County-observed hoildays shall mean the following holidays. 

1. Federal holidays observed on Mondays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and President's Day.
2. Holidays that fall on the same day or day every year: New Year's Day (January 1), Juneteenth (June 19), Independence Day (July 4), Veterans Day (November 11), Thanksgiving Day (fourth Thursday in November), and the day after Thanksgiving Day.

Whenever any County-observed holiday falls on a weekend, admission fees shall be applicable on that weekend day, and not on any weekday that the County elects to observe such holiday. All County parks are closed on Christmas Day.

The following admission fees are applicable on weekends and County-observed holidays, except as otherwise expressly provided.

1. Motorized vehicle (8 or fewer occupants) - $3
2. Motorized vehicle (9 or more occupants) - $20
3. Per motorized vehicle (Military/Veterans, as defined below) - $2
4. Park admission for bicyclists, pedestrians, and horse riders (to parks with horse trails only) - Tradewinds, Tree Tops, and Vista View) - Free

There is no fee to enter Boaters Park, neighborhood parks, nature centers, natural areas, and specialty parks. At Hollywood North Beach Park, a parking fee is charged instead of the gate entrance fee. See Parking below.

For the purposes of this fee schedule, "County-observed holidays" shall mean the following holidays:

Annual Parks Passports​​

Parks Passport (per motorized vehicle 8 or fewer occupants) - $30

With a Parks Passport you never have to worry about paying the $3/vehicle fee (for 8 or fewer occupants) that’s in effect on weekends and County holidays at most of our regional parks. (The Parks Passport does not cover the parking fee at Hollywood North Beach Park nor any special amenity or event fees.) The credit card-style passports are good for one year from the date of purchase and are available at park offices and through Reserve Online.

The Parks Passport covers the park gate admission for a vehicle (with 8 or fewer occupants) on weekends and holidays. 

Disabled Veterans Parks Passport Program 

The Broward County Commission has approved a plan that will allow honorably discharged disabled veterans with a service-related disability to enter County parks for free. Veterans who served in the United States Armed Forces and have a service-related disability can apply for a free Parks Passport.​

The credit card-style passes will be good for five years from the date of activation – a savings of more than $150 β€“ and may be renewed. (The pass does not provide prepaid parking at Hollywood North Beach Park or admittance into special park amenities or events.) It covers the weekend and County-observed holiday entrance fee in a vehicle (with fewer than 8 occupants).

To determine eligibility, call 954-357-​6622 to schedule an appointment at one of the seven Broward County Veterans Service locations to complete an application to determine eligibility.

United States Armed Forces, National Guard, Law Enforcement, Firefighter, Emergency Medical Technician, or Paramedic Employed by State of Local Government

Admission fee is not applicable to any of the following: (i) individuals of groups on official park and recreation-related business, when authorized by the Director; (ii) individuals who have a current, valid Veterans Parks Passport issued by the Division; and (iii) individuals who present information satisfactory to the Division evidencing eligibility under Section 125.029, Florida Statutes. The foregoing waivers do not apply to admission to special park amenities, special events, or parking at Hollywood North Beach Park. Active members and honorably discharged veterans of the United States Armed Forces, National Guard, or reserve components thereof, suffering from service-related disabilities (see Disabled Veterans Pass Program above); (iii) the surviving spouse, domestic partner, or parents of a deceased member of the United States Armed Forces, National Guard, or any reserve components thereof, may also purchase yearly regional Parks Passports at a 25 percent discount. Exemptions in this section are not applicable to fees changed by any County-approved concessionaire operating at a park facility or amenity.​

The campgrounds at C.B. Smith and T.Y. are open to RVs with full hookups only that must be connected to the park's sewage system. In addition to RVs, Easterlin and Markham parks accept tent camping. Cassette-type toilets and transportable wastewater containers are not permitted. Rent-a-Tent and tepee rentals are available at Quiet Waters Park only.  More info...

Campground site rentals are subject to all applicable taxes. Additional fees are subject to applicable taxes. When available, extended stays are allowed for up to 180 days for RV sites, and 14 days for tent camping.

Cancellation and Transfer Requests

All requests:
  • ​Must be in writing, and
  • Must be submitted (in person or by email) to the park where the reservation is made.​
Cancellation Restrictions and Fees
  • ​Refunds for payments originally made using cash or check will be received in the form of a County-issued check in approximately six to eight weeks. Credit card refunds are refunded within five business days.
  • The following cancellation fees apply to shelter, funbrella, athletic fields, hall meeting rooms, and community centers.
    • ​Five days or less notice before reservation date, there is a 100% cancellation fee (no refund); 
    • 6 days or more notice prior to the reservation date, a full refund will be issued.

  • The following cancellation fees apply to ​​​Camping if the written notification request is received:
    • ​​​Five days or less prior to the date of the stay being cancelled, there is a 100% per night fee for camping, up to 5 days maximum*
    • Six days or​ more prior to the date of the stay being cancelled, a full refund will be issued. 
  • The halls at regional parks including Carpenter House, Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium, Fern Forest Nature Center, Long Key Natural Area, Miramar Pineland, Plantation Heritage Park, Secret Woods Nature Center, Target Range at Markham Park, Tree Tops Park, and Anne Kolb Nature Center at West Lake Park if the written notification request is received:
    • ​​​30 days or less prior to the reservation date, there is a 100% cancellation fee*
    • Between 31 and 60 days, inclusive, prior to the reservation date, there is a 50% cancellation fee.
    • 61 days or more prior to the reservation date, a full refund will be issued.
  • For halls within the Broward Municipal Services District, including Boulevard Gardens Park, Reverend Samuel Delevoe Park, Franklin Park, Lafayette Hart Park, Roosevelt Gardens Park, and Sunview Park if the written notification request is received:
    • ​​​Seven days or less prior to the date of the reservation date, there is a 100% cancellation fee*
    • Eight days or more prior to the date of the reservation date, a full refund will be issued.
  • Special Event Restrictions and Fees
    • ​​​No refunds will be honored based on weather, unless closed by the park.
    • No transfer allowed.
    • Full refunds will be honored for labor fees paid.
    • The following cancellation fees apply:
      1. 0-90 days, 100% of event fees paid; or
      2. 91 days of more, 70% of event fees paid.​​

*For all reservations, if the written notification request is received within 24 hours of the initial reservation, a full refund will be issued.

  • The cancellation fees may be waived by the Division Director or the Division Director's designee for any unforeseeable circumstance that may negatively impact the health, safety, and welfare of the public or the public or personal hardship, as determined by the Division Director or the Division Director's designee.​​​

Transfer Restrictions

  • Reservations are permitted a one-time transfer allowed for the reservation and no future transfer or cancellation will be granted. 
  • The following transfer restrictions apply to shelter, funbrella, meeting rooms, cabins, and athletic fields:
    • 4 days or less, transfer requests will not be granted; or
    • 5 days or more, transfer requests will be granted
  • The following transfer restrictions apply to hall rentals:
    • 30 days or less, transfer request will be granted; or
    • 31 days or more, transfer request will be granted
  • The following transfer restrictions apply to camping:
    • ​1 day or more, transfer requests will be granted​

Special Event Restrictions and Fees

  • No refunds will be issued based on weather, unless closed by the park.
  • No transfers allowed.
  • Full refunds will be granted for labor fees paid.
  • The following cancellation fees apply to special event permit:
    • ​0-90 days befor​e scheduled event, 100% of event fees paid (no refund); or
    • 91 days or more before scheduled event, 70% of event fees paid (30% refund).​​

​Barkham at Markham Park and Woofing Waters at Quiet Waters Park (open seasonally: closed third week of January through second week of April for mechanical maintenance to the splash pad pump system, turf regeneration, and large-scale special event operations). Proof of current rabies vaccination is required and documentation must show the expiration date or administered date.


Annual (Barkham) and Seasonal Membership (Woofing Waters) Fees (for frequent visitors) - $25/family (for households with up to 3 dogs, each individual dog must be registered with park) and includes one access card​​. The card gets dogs in both dog parks.
