​​Professional Standards is responsible for ensuring all ​ Broward County Government agencies and its employees comply with Broward County policies, procedures and ordinances as set forth by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners. This section also has oversight for County Administrative Policies and Procedures (CAPP revisions), the Commission on the Status of Women and Advocacy Board for Individuals With Disabilities. 

Advisory Boards​

Commission on the Status of Women 

The Broward County Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) advisory board is a non-partisan body with a focus on raising awareness and celebrating the contributions and successes of all residents of Broward County. It provides a collaborative platform for those seeking information on issues that affect women, girls and their families in our County.  ​

Individuals With Disabilities 

Submits reports and recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners relating to matters which include, but are not limited to, discrimination, employment, and vocational training, as well as the present and future needs for public transportation, services, emergency management disaster planning, affordable and accessible housing, and accessible facilities and programs for individuals with disabilities.​ Broward County is committed to offering a range of programs and services that are accessible to everyone.​
