Many Broward County agencies offer special programs and benefits for veterans.
- Broward County Libraries offers a Veterans Connect Hotspot Program that provides free mobile internet service for veterans, active military and their dependents. Our libraries also offer numerous services for veterans such as career assistance, training, business resources and access to local organizations and facilities. Local veterans and civilians who served with the U.S. military are invited to record their stories as part of the
Veterans History Project, free of charge with Broward County Historical Archives at the Main Library.
- Broward County Parks offer a disabled veteran’s park pass program. Eligible veterans may apply for a Find It All pass and never have to worry about paying the gate entrance fee. The pass is valued at $125 and may be renewed every five years. The pass does not include parking or admittance fees to special park amenities or events. Call 954-357-6622.
- BCT has a variety of programs specifically designed for veterans who cannot transport or obtain transportation for themselves, including the
TOPS for Veterans Paratransit program and the
Transportation Disadvantaged Bus Pass Program. These services are available to veterans who meet certain eligibility requirements. If you are interested in TOPS Transportation to the William "Bill" Kling VA Clinic, click
