Free Chlorination
As a consecutive system to the City of Hollywood, District 3A and District 3BC Water Service Areas will be on free chlorination in conjunction with the City of Hollywood from August 19, 2024 through September 22, 2024.
Free chlorination is a common practice for water systems using combined chlorine disinfection in an effort to ensure the integrity of the distribution system. This chlorination period is anticipated to be transparent; however, there may be a slight change in the taste or odor of the tap water.
