Planting For Our Future
"Planting for our Future" was the theme for this 2025's Broward Water Matters Day event, celebrating its 23rd year on Saturday, March 8 at Tree Tops Park.
Over 4000 attended Water Matters Day 2025, and residents received over 2000 native trees and a further 800 pollinator plants during the event.
As part of the event, the NatureScape Emerald Awards were presented to select municipalities, schools, community groups, and homeowners that created and maintained model Florida-friendly landscapes. These are environments designed to conserve natural resources and provide valuable habitat for native and migratory wildlife or that have completed exceptional environmental projects.
Tree Tops Park is located at 3900 S.W. 100th Avenue in Davie.
