The County and the WellBeing Program offer robust benefits and options for financial security including retirement planning, wealth building, and debt management. This Financial WellBeing Portal is provided to assist Broward County employees to navigate the benefits offered, along with the resources to advance their personal financial health.

Programs, Services, and Activities Available -

FRS - The retirement system for County employees. Workshops are offered throughout the year.

FRS Pre-Recorded sessions are available at any time.

Deferred Compensation - Added retirement benefits offered through ICMA-RC, Nationwide, and Brighthouse.
Banking Services - Services offered through Wells Fargo.
Florida Prepaid College Program - Sign up and submit the State form to Payroll Central for deductions.
Engagement Incentive Program - Enroll in HDHP insurance and receive funding to a Health Savings Account.
Donated Leave - A program to provide time to fellow employees who have exhausted all applicable paid leave.
Financial Workshops/Financially Fit Fairs - Events offered throughout the County for financial education.
Medicare Education - Workshop presented each quarter for those nearing Medicare age.
RALLY Program - Provided as part of the Health Plan to promote wellness and a healthy lifestyle.
Discount Bus Pass/Tri-Rail Program - Payroll pre-tax deduction for discounted Bus Pass or Tri-Rail.
Basic Life Insurance/Buy Up Insurance - $50K provided at hire, additional Life available at Group Rates.
Personal Income Protection* - Four optional policies that offer benefits to protect your income.
Long-term Disability Ins - Optional insurance to provide 60% of eligible earnings after 90-day disability.
