The Broward County Aviation Department (BCAD) received approval for the Master Plan Update from the Federal Aviation Administration and the Florida Department of Transportation in early 2021. Currently, BCAD is in the final stages of validating and refining the Master Plan Update, factoring in the impacts that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the aviation industry.
